AIRPORTS AND CIVIL AVIATION (SECURITY) ACT (CAP. 405)
Designated Airports (Policing) Order, 2003
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 28 of the Airports and Civil Aviation (Security) Act, hereinafter referred to as “the Act”, the Minister for Justice and Home Affairs, in consultation with the Minister for Transport and Communications, the Manager Airport Security and the members of the Airport Security Committee, has made the following order>-
Citation and commencement.
Designated airports requiring policing.
1. (1) The title of this order is the Designated Airports (Policing) Order, 2003.
(2) This order shall be deemed to have come into force on the 21st July, 1998.
2. The Minister has designated the following airports as designated airports requiring policing for the purposes of Part V of the
Act>-
(a) Malta International Airport, Gudja< and
(b) Xewkija Heliport, Gozo.
