BUDGET MEASURES IMPLEMENTATION ACT, 2002 (ACT NO. II OF 2002)
IMPORT DUTIES ACT (CAP. 337)
Notice of coming into force of various provisions
IN exercise of the powers conferred by subarticle (2)(b) of article 29 of the Budget Measures Implementation Act, 2002 and article 36A(2) of the Import Duties Act, and for the purposes of subregulation (3) of regulation 1 of the Customs (Implementation of Provisions of Customs Code) Regulations, 2002, published by Legal Notice 244 of 2002, the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs has established the 16th February, 2004 as the date on which the provisions of articles 166 to 181 of the Customs Code in the Fourth Schedule of the Import Duties Act, and articles 268 to 282 of the Implementing Provisions in the Schedule thereto, shall come into force.
