CODE OF ORGANIZATION AND CIVIL PROCEDURE (CAP. 12)Time for Execution of Warrants and Orders Regulations, 2009
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 277 of the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure (Cap. 12), the Minister responsible for Justice has made the following regulations:-
Citation. 1. The title of these regulations is the Time for Execution of
Warrants and Orders Regulations, 2009.
Execution of warrants and orders.
Cap. 12.
2. Saving the exceptions laid down in the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure, no warrant or Court order shall be executed at any time before six o’clock in the morning and after eight o’clock in the evening, under pain of nullity of the execution.Urgency. 3. For reasons of urgency to be confirmed on oath by the applicant, the Court may allow the execution of any warrant or order outside the said time.
