DATA PROTECTION ACT ACT NO. XXVI OF 2001
Commencement Notice
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 1 (2) of the Data Protection Act, 2001, hereinafter called “the Act”, the Minister for Information Technology and Investment has designated the 15th July,
2003, as the date on which the provisions of Part VII (articles 29 to 35, both inclusive) and article 55 of the said Act, shall come into force.
