IN exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 30 (5) and
31 (6) of the Education Act (Cap. 327), the Chancellor of the University of Malta has promulgated the following regulations made by the Senate of the University
of Malta by virtue of the powers conferred upon it by sections 31 and 35 of the said Act:
1. These regulations may be cited as the Bachelor of Engineering and
Architecture (Honours) - B.E.&A. (Hons) - Degree Course (Amendment) Regulations,
2006 and shall be read and construed as one with the Regulations for the Degree of Bachelor of Engineering and Architecture (Honours)
- B.E.&A. (Hons) - 1993, published as Legal Notice 118 of 1993, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.

2. These regulations shall apply to courses which started in October 2000 or
3. For regulation 7.5 of the principal regulations there shall be substituted the following:
“7.5 Candidates who in Part 2 of the Course repeat any year may only qualify for a Pass degree, that is, for the Bachelor of Engineering
and Architecture (B.E.&A.) degree.”
