ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT (CAP. 435)
Conservation of Wild Birds Regulations (Declaration of the periods for Hunting and Taking of Turtledove and Quail) Regulations,
2007
BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by article 9 of the Environment Protection Act, the Minister for Rural Affairs and the Environment
has made the following regulations>–
1. (1) The title of these regulations is the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of the periods for Hunting and Taking of
Turtledove and Quail) Regulations, 2007.

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 8th March

Establishing of periods.
2. Terms and expressions used in these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires, shall have the same meaning as given
to them in the Conservation of Wild Birds Regulations, 2006, hereinafter referred to as the “2006 Regulations”.
3. For the purposes of establishing the period for the hunting and capturing of Turtledove and Quail under regulation 10(6)(t)(i),
(ii) and (iii) of the 2006 Regulations, the Minister has established the following dates>–
(a) The capturing of Turtledove and Quail between the 26th
March, 2007 and the 20th May, 2007< and
(b) The hunting of Turtledove and Quail between the 10th
April, 2007 and the 20th May, 2007.
