GAMING ACT (CAP. 400)Gaming Act (Amendment) Regulations, 2003

50 of the principal regulations.
IN virtue of the powers vested by articles 30, 40, and 50 of the Gaming Act, the Minister of Finance, with the concurrence of the Minister of Justice and Local Government, and acting on the advice of the Lotteries and Gaming Authority, has made the following regulations:-
1. The title of these regulations is the Gaming Act (Amendment) Regulations, 2003, and they shall be read and construed as one with the Gaming Act Regulations, 1998, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.2. In sub-regulation (1) of regulation 49 of the principal regulations, for the words “a Police Officer not below the rank of Inspector” there shall be substituted the words “the Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit”.3. Regulation 50 of the principal regulations shall be amended as follows:-(a) in sub-regulation (1) thereof, for the words “to the Secretary of the Board and to the Commissioner of Police” there shall
be substituted the words “to the Chief Executive Officer of the Lotteries and Gaming Authority, to the Financial Intelligence Analysis
Unit and to the Commissioner of Police”< and
(b) in paragraph (c) of sub-regulation (2) thereof, for the words “a Police officer not below the rank of Inspector” there
shall be substituted the words “the Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit”.
