HOUSING AUTHORITY ACT (CAP. 261)
Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) Order, 2007
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the Housing
Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the following order>-
1. The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer of
Assets) Order, 2007.
2. The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act.
3. The property specified in article 2 of this order shall be transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the article aforesaid with effect from the 1st March, 2007.
4. The property referred to in article 2 of this order is the following, that is to say>
(1) A plot of land having an area of approximately 1,133.9 square metres, forming part of Ta’ Farzina Government Housing Estate, limits of Qormi, bounded on the North by Triq is-Sajf, on the West by Triq il-B[ajra , and on the East by property transferred to the Housing Authority. The said plot forms part of Government land acquired by President’s Declaration 822 dated 28th September
2006 and on land previously registered as Tenement 50110, edged
red on plan P.D. 9_82_18. (HAM 957#78 Vol II).
(2) A plot of land known as Plot No. 71 in Triq :u]è Ellul Mercer, forming part of the Government Housing Estate at Dingli, bounded on all sides by property belonging to the Government, granted on perpetual emphyteusis to Paul and Sylvia Debattista as per contract dated 25th September, 1974 in the deeds of Notary A. Grech, registered in Government Property Division records as Tenement 41070 on which are built premises bearing number 51, Triq :u]è Ellul Mercer, Dingli, edged red and marked P. 71 on L.D. 36#82#7 . (HAP 16#2006).
(3) A plot of land known as Plot No. 29 in Triq il-Mit[na l-
:dida, forming part of the Ta’ Pennellu Government Housing

Grech, registered in Government Property Division records as Tenement 41101 on which are built premises bearing number 18, Triq is-Sienja, Qormi, edged red and marked ‘Plot 2 now 18’ on L.D. 152#83#11. (5) A plot of land known as Plot No. 157 and 157A in Dawret it-Torri, forming part of the Neighbourhood I Government Housing Estate at Santa Lucia, bounded on all sides by property belonging to the Government, granted on temporary emphyteusis to Alice Camilleri as per contracts dated 5th September, 1969 and
13th September, 1973, both in the deeds of Notary A. Grech, registered in Government Property Division records as Tenement
65309 on which are built premises bearing number 13, Dawret it- Torri, Santa Lucia, edged red and marked P.157A and P.157 on L.D. 11#82#82. (HAP 17#2006).
(6) A plot of land known as Plot No. 11 in Triq il-Lampuki, forming part of Ta’ Erba’ Mwie]ep Government Housing Estate at St Paul’s Bay, bounded on all sides by property belonging to the Government, granted on temporary emphyteusis to Joseph Cuschieri as per contract dated 28th December, 1973 in the deeds of Notary A. Grech, registered in Government Property Division records as Tenement 67064 on which are built premises bearing number 11 and named ‘Joe Carm’, Triq il-Lampuki, St Paul’s Bay, edged red and marked P.11 on L.D. 84#87#2.
