HOUSING AUTHORITY ACT (CAP. 261)
Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) Order, 2008
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the Housing
Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the following order>-

Citation.

Specified property.

Appointed day.

Description of specified property.

1. The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer of
Assets) Order, 2008.
2. The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act.
3. The property specified in article 2 of this order shall be transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the article aforesaid with effect from the 2nd of January, 2008.
4. The property referred to in article 2 of this order is the following, that is to say>
(1) Plots of land known as “A” having an area of approximately 480 square metres, “B” having an area of approximately 554 square metres, “C” having an area of approximately 1,422.50 square metres, “D” having an area of approximately 810 square metres and “E” having an area of approximately 660 square metres, situated at Tal-Wata Housing Estate, limits of Dingli, forming part of the Government Housing Estate at G[ar Bittija, bounded on all sides by property belonging to the Government or its successors in title, or more correct boundaries, registered in the Government Property Division’s records bearing Tenement Acquisition No. 15246 and which are edged in red and marked “A”, “B”, “C”, “D” and “E” respectively on plan P.D. 2006_995. (HAM 131#86).
(2) A plot of land known as Plot No. 9 at Triq il-31 ta’ Marzu, G[arg[ur, bounded on all sides by property belonging to the Government or its successors in title, or more correct boundaries, granted on emphyteusis to Anthony Azzopardi as per contract dated 15th October, 1975 in the acts of Notary Doctor Alexander Grech, bearing Tenement No. 41177 and which is edged in red and marked “P.9” on plan L.D. 155#84#5. (HAP 12#2007).
(3) A plot of land known as Plot No. 161 at Triq Vincenzo Ciappara, Ta’ Pennellu, Mellie[a, bounded on all sides by property belonging to the Government or its successors in title, or more correct boundaries, granted on perpetual emphyteusis to Salvatore Mifsud and Jane Mifsud as per deed dated 31st January 2006 in the acts of Notary Mary sive Mariella Mizzi bearing Tenement No.
40899 on which are built the premises number 161, Triq Vincenzo
Ciappara, Ta’ Pennellu, Mellie’a, and which is edged in red and marked “P.161” on plan L.D. 383#91#10. (HAP 15#2006).
(4) A plot of land known as 10 (Plot 27) at Triq il-Gladjoli, San :wann, bounded on all sides by property belonging to Government or its successors in title, or more correct boundaries, granted on perpetual emphyteusis to Patrick Cassar as per deed dated 26th July 1990 in the acts of Notary Paul Pullicino bearing Tenement No. 41618 on which are built the premises number 10 (Plot 27), Triq il-Gladjoli, San :wann and which is edged in red and marked “P.27” on plan L.D. 128#80#24. (HAP 13#2006).
(5) A plot of land known as 66 (Plot 73) at Triq l-Istefanotis, San :wann, bounded on all sides by property belonging to Government, granted on perpetual emphyteusis to Carmen Blundell as per deed dated the 22nd March 1996 in the acts of Notary Vincent Miceli bearing Tenement No. 41920 on which are built the premises number 66 “Kavinja” (Plot 73), Triq l-Istefanotis San :wann, and which is edged in red and marked “P.73” on plan L.D.128#80#20 and as “Plot 73” on Plan P.D.128_80_31. (HAP 8#2007).
(6) A plot of land known as (Plot 56) No 1 at Triq il-Vjoli, Santa Lucia, bounded on all sides by property belonging to Government or its successors in title, or more correct boundaries granted on emphyteusis to Mary Anne Galea as per deed dated
11th January 1991 in the acts of Notary Doctor George Cassar and
bearing Tenement No. 64887 on which are built the premises number (Plot 56) No 1, “St Anthony”, Triq il-Vjoli, Santa Lucia, and which is edged in red and marked “(P. 56) 1” on plan L.D.11#82#62. (HAP 7#2007).
