INCOME TAX ACT (CAP. 123)
Income Tax Exemption (Philanthropic Work) Notice, 2003
BY VIRTUE of the powers vested in him by article 12(1)(e) of the Income Tax Act (Cap. 123), the Minister of Finance has named the following organisations as being engaged in philanthropic work, and thus exempt from income tax>–
1. Maltese Cross Corps
2. Lions Club La Valletta
This exemption is effective retrospectively from the date of formation of the said organisations.
