JUDGES AND MAGISTRATES (SALARIES) ACT (CAP. 175)
Judges and Magistrates (Revision of Salaries) Order 2006
IN exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 2 and 3 of the Judges and Magistrates (Salaries) Act, hereinafter referred to as “the Act”, the Prime Minister has made the following order>-
1. This order may be cited as the Judges and Magistrates (Revision of Salaries) Order, 2006, and shall be deemed to have come into effect on the 1st January, 2006.
2. There shall be paid to the holders of the offices specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto, instead of the salaries prescribed in Articles 2 and 3 of the Act, the annual salaries respectively specified opposite to each such office in the respective columns of the Schedule during the year to which each of the second to the sixth columns of the schedule refers. The said salaries shall be payable as from the 1st day of January of each specified year.
