LAND ACQUISITION (PUBLIC PURPOSES) ORDINANCE (CAP. 88)
Land Acquisition (Rate of Interest) Regulations, 2003
IN virtue of the powers conferred by article 22 (3) of the Land Acquisition (Public Purposes) Ordinance, the Minister for Home Affairs and the Environment has made the following regulations>

Citation.

Establishment of rate of interest.

1. The title of these regulations is the Land Acquisition (Rate of
Interest) Regulations, 2003.
2. The minimum rate of interest for the purposes of article 22(3) Land Acquisition (Public Purposes) Ordinance, is hereby being established as the prevailing Term Deposit rate as published from time to time by the Central Bank of Malta, less 100 basis points.
