LOCAL COUNCILS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2009 (ACT NO. XVI OF 2009)Commencement Notice

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the Local Councils (Amendment) Act, 2009 the Prime Minister has established the 1st February, 2010 as the date when the provisions of articles 4, 19(a) with respect to new paragraphs (m) and (o) and of article 38 of the said Act shall come into force.
