NOTARIAL PROFESSION AND NOTARIAL ARCHIVES ACT (CAP. 55)
Notarial Profession and Notarial Archives Act (Schedule) (Amendment) Regulations, 2003
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 146 (2) of the Notarial Profession and Notarial Archives Act, the Minister for Justice and Home Affairs, with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, has made the following regulations>–

Citation and commencement.

Amends Part II of the Schedule.

1. (1) The title of these regulations is the Notarial Profession and Notarial Archives Act (Schedule) (Amendment) Regulations, 2003, and they shall be read and construed as one with the Schedule to the Notarial Profession and Notarial Archives Act, hereinafter referred to as “the Schedule”.
(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 1st
January, 2004.
2. Part II of the Schedule shall be amended as follows>–
(a) in paragraph (i) of item 46 thereof, for the words
“fifteen cents” there shall be substituted the words “thirty cents”<
(b) in paragraph (iii) of item 46 thereof for the words “ten cents” there shall be substituted the words “twenty cents”, and for the words “twenty-five cents” there shall be substituted the words “fifty cents”respectively< and
(c) in item 49 thereof after the words “Minister responsible for notarial affairs” there shall be added the words “or by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry responsible for notarial affairs as delegated by the said Minister for this purpose,”.
