OIL POLLUTION (LIABILITY AND COMPENSATION) ACT (CAP. 412)Oil Pollution (Liability and Compensation) Act(Amendment of Schedules) Regulations, 2003

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 7 and 8 of the Oil Pollution (Liability and Compensation) Act, the Minister for Transport and Communications has made the following regulations:–

Title and commencement.

2003.
(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 1st November,

(a) “3 million units of account” there shall be substituted the words “4,510,000 units of account”;
(b) “420 units of account” there shall be substituted the words “631 units of account”;
(c) “59.7 million units of account” there shall be substituted the words “89,770,000 units of account”.

(a) in sub-paragraph (a) thereof, for the words “135 million units of account” there shall be substituted the words “203,000,000 units of account”;

Amends the First

Schedule.

Amends the Second

Schedule.

(b) in sub-paragraph (b) thereof, for the words “135 million units of account” there shall be substituted the words “203,000,000 units of account”; and
(c) in sub-paragraph (c) thereof, for the words “200 million units of account” there shall be substituted the words “300,740,000 units of account”.
