PROBATION ACT, 2002 (ACT NO. VII OF 2002)
Date of coming into force
BY virtue of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the Probation Act, 2002, the Minister for Home Affairs and the Enviornment has established the 10th March, 2003 as the date when all the provisions of the said Act, except for articles 5, the proviso in subarticle (1) of article
6, subarticle (6) of article 7, articles 11 to 20, 27 and 29, shall come into force, and the 1st June, 2003 as the date when all the remaining provisions hereabove mentioned shall come into force.
