PESTICIDES CONTROL ACT (CAP. 430)Plant Protection Products (Amendment) Regulations, 2011

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 4 and 5 of the Pesticides Control Act, the Minister for Resources and Rural Affairs, in consultation with the Prime Minister and with the Minister for Health, the Elderly and Community Care, has made the following regulations :-

2009, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.
(2) The scope of these regulations is to transpose
Commission Directive 2010/70/EU and Commission Directive
2010/77/EU in so far as they amend Schedule I to the principal regulations.

(i) in row 7, relating to Metsulfuron-methyl, in the column “Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “30.6.2011” there shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;
(ii) in row 9, relating to Triasulfuron, in the column “Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31.7.2011” there shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;
(iii) in row 10, relating to Esfenvalerate, in the column “Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31.7.2011” there shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;
(iv) in row 11, relating to Bentazone, in the column “Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31.7.2011” there shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;
(v) in row 12, relating to Lambda-cyhalothrin, in the column “Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31.12.2011” there shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;
