PRIVATE GUARDS AND LOCAL WARDENS ACT (CAP. 389)
Local Wardens (Amendment) Regulations, 2003
IN exercise of the powers confirmed by article 24 of the Private Guards and Local Wardens Act, the Minister for Justice and Home Affairs has made the following regulations>–

Amends regulation

4 of the principal regulations.

1. The title of these regulations is the Local Wardens (Amendment) Regulations, 2003 and shall be read and construed as one with the Local Wardens Regulations, 1996, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.
2. Immediately at the end of subregulation (1) of regulation 4 of the principal regulations there shall be added the following proviso>–
“Provided that this provision shall not apply to persons who have completed a period of service with the police or armed forces or the prison services, in Malta or abroad.”.
