PUBLIC GARDENS (CLOSING) [CAP. 34. 1
PUBLIC GARDENS (Closing) ORDINANCE
To provide for the closing to the public of public Government gardens or pleasure grounds on certain days.
(26th May, 1905)*
Enacted by ORDINANCE VII of 1905 as amended by Ordinance IX of
1946; Government Notice 67 of 1952; Act VI of 1955; Legal Notices: 4 of
1963, 8 of 1968; and Acts: XXV of 1968 and XXII of 1976.
(Closing) Ordinance.
Provided that, in any year in which the Malta Trade Fair is held, the number of days above-mentioned, in respect of the garden or
pleasure ground in which the fair is held, shall be twenty and ten respectively.
(2) The Minister responsible for agriculture may, from time to time, add other public government gardens or pleasure grounds to
the Schedule hereto or otherwise vary the Schedule hereto, in each case by notice published in the Government Gazette.
