POSTAL SERVICES ACT (CAP. 254)Transfer of Property to Maltapost plc Order, 2011

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 15(4) of the Postal Services Act, the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications has made the following Order:–

1. The title of this Order is the Transfer of Property to

Maltapost plc Order, 2011.

2. In this Order: -

“the Act” means the Postal Services Act;
“the Commissioner” means the Commissioner of Land; “the company” means Maltapost plc;
“Maltapost plc” means the public limited company registered in terms of the Companies Act and which is licensed under article 8(1) of the Act to provide postal services in Malta.

3. The premises consisting of the building and land at site 305, Triq Ħal Qormi, Marsa, owned by the Government and currently being used by Maltapost plc, marked as Site A on the Plan in the Schedule to this Order, shall be transferred by title of sale by the Commissioner to the company under a contract of sale entered into between the Commissioner and the company.SCHEDULE (Article 3)
