PRODUCT SAFETY ACT (CAP. 427)Aerosol Dispensers (Amendment) Regulations, 2011
IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 38 to 40 of the Product Safety Act, the Prime Minister on the advice of the Malta Standards Authority, has made the following regulations:-
1. The title of these regulations is the Aerosols Dispensers (Amendment) Regulations, 2011 and they shall be read and construed as one with the Aerosols Dispensers Regulations, 2002, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.2. Regulation 5 of the principal regulations shall be amended as follows:(a) for regulation 5.1 thereof, there shall be substituted the following:
“5.1. The responsible person shall affix the symbol ‘3’ (inverted epsilon) to aerosol dispensers, as proof that they satisfy the requirements of these
regulations and the Schedule.”;
( b ) f o r r e g u l a t i o n 5 . 2 . 2 t h e r e o f , t h e r e s h a l l b e substituted the following:
“ 5 . 2 . 2 . t h e s y m b o l ‘ 3 ’ ( i n v e r t e d e p s i l o n ) certifying conformity with the requirements of
these regulations,”; and
(c) for regulation 5.4 thereof, there shall be substituted the following:
