PRODUCT SAFETY ACT (CAP. 427)
Notice of coming into force of the
Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations, 2002
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 38 of the Product Safety Act, and in terms of regulation 1.2 of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations, 2002, published by Legal Notice 368 of
2002, the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, on the advice of
the Malta Standards Authority, has established the 19th December, 2003 as the date when all the provisions of the said regulations shall come into force.
Furthermore, any reference to placing on the market therein is intended to cover also the placing of products on the market anywhere on the territory of the Community or that of Malta.
