REFUGEES ACT (CAP. 420)
Refugees Appeals Board (Chambers) Rules, 2005
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 5 (4) of the Refugees Act, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Justice and Home
Affairs has made the following rules>-
Citation.
Establishment of number of Chambers.
Assignment of cases between Chambers.
1. The title of these rules is the Refugees Appeals Board
(Chambers) Rules, 2005.
2. The number of Chambers of the Refugees Appeals Board is hereby established at two and the said Chambers shall be known as the
“First Chamber” and the “Second Chamber”.
3. The assignment of cases between the two Chambers of the Refugees Appeals Board shall be made by the Secretary of the “First
Chamber” by rotation in such manner that both Chambers shall, as far as possible, be assigned an equal number of cases.
