RADIOCOM M UNICA T IONS [CAP. 49. 1
RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS ACT*
To regulate radiocommunications.

Act XII of 2010:
PART I
REPEAL OF THE RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS ACT
2. (1)This Part repeals the Radiocommunications Act:
Provided that any regulations and other subsidiary legislation made under any of the provisions of the Radiocommunications Act, shall,
until other provision is made under or by virtue of any Act, continue in force and have effect as if they we re made under Part IV
of the Electronic Communications (Regulation) Act.
(2) Any licence or authorisation however so described issued or applicable under the Radiocommunications Act before the
coming into force of this article, shall continue to have effect in accordance with the a ppl ic ab le pro v isio ns of Part IV of
the El ec tronic Comm uni c a t i o ns (Regulation) Act:
Provided that any fees however so described due in respect of any l i cence or authori s ation iss u ed in a ccordance
with the Radiocommunications Act before the coming into force of this article, shall aft er the comi ng into force of thi s a
rti cl e, rem ain rec ove rable a s
though they were due in accordance with the applicable provisions of Part
IV of the Electronic Communications (Regulation) Act.
(3) Notwithstanding the other provisions of this article, the Radiocommunications Act shall remain in force for
the purpose of any proceedings taken or still to be taken in respect of any breach of the said Act or of any regulations made thereunder
at the time of the coming into force of this article.
