STATUTE LAW REVISION ACT, 1980 (ACT NO. IX OF 1980)Correction of Laws Order, 2006 (Cap. 12)

Correction to article 240(1) of the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure.

Cap. 12.

Coming into force.

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 7(3) of the Statute Law Revision Act, 1980, the Law Commission has made the following correction:

1. In the English text of article 240(1) of the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure, cancel the words "against whom a cross appeal is directed" and substitute therefor the words "against whom an appeal is directed".2. The Minister for Justice and Home Affairs has appointed the 1st February, 2006 as the date on which the correction made by the Law Commission and published by this Legal Notice shall come into force.
