Transfer of Funds (Specified State Owned Hostels) Regulations, 2003
IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 84, 93 and 131 of the Social Security Act, hereinafter referred to as “the Act”, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Social Policy, with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, has made the following regulations>–

Citation.

Transfer of funds.

1. The title of these regulations is the Transfer of Funds (Specified
State Owned Hostels) Regulations, 2003.
2. In terms of the provisions of paragraph (ii) of sub-article (4) of article 131 of the Social Security Act, any rates payable to the Welfare Committee in accordance with the State-Owned Institutions and Hostels Rates Regulations, 2000 in respect of the }ejtun Hostel for the Elderly as indicated in the Specified State-Owned Institutions and Hostels Regulations, 2000 shall be transferred to the Director responsible for the Elderly and Community Services Department.
