Interconnection (Obligations and Rates) (Amendment) Regulations, 2003
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 38 of the Telecommunications (Regulation) Act, the Minister for Transport and Communications, after consultation with the Malta Communications Authority, has made the following regulations>–

1. (1) The title of these regulations is the Interconnection (Obligations and Rates) (Amendment) Regulations, 2003 and they shall be read and construed as one with the Interconnection (Obligations and Rates) Regulations, 2000, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 1st July,

Substitutes regulation 4

of the principal regulations.

2. For regulation 4 of the principal regulations there shall be substituted the following>–

“International rates.

4. The international rates to the subscriber and, or user for international telephone calls offered by operators of mobile telecommunications systems shall not be less than the international rates to the subscriber and, or user for such calls offered by operators of fixed telecommunications systems.”.
