The Second (2003) Appropriation Act (Act No. Xix Of 2003)

AN ACT to appropriate a sum not exceeding sixteen million, ten thousand and two Maltese liri for the service of the financial year 2003.

BE IT ENACTED by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows>—

Short title.

Appropriation 2003.

Further appropriation 2003 and transfer to Contingencies Fund.

1. This Act may be cited as the Second (2003) Appropriation
Act, 2003.
2. A sum not exceeding sixteen million, nine thousand, nine hundred and ninety-seven Maltese liri to meet expenditure in respect of financial year 2003 under the Votes specified in the First Schedule to this Act shall be and the same is hereby charged upon the Consolidated Fund.
3. A further sum not exceeding five Maltese liri, to meet expenditure in respect of the financial year 2003 under the Votes specified in the Second Schedule to this Act shall be and the same is hereby charged upon the Consolidated Fund, provided that such sum shall be transferred to the Contingencies Fund in replacement of withdrawals made out of this Fund to cover the services detailed in regard to such Votes in the Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year 2003.
