BY virtue of article 1(2) of the Various Laws (Criminal Matters) (Amendment) Act, 2007, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Justice and Home Affairs has appointed the 15th January, 2008 as the date when all the provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
